hi, it's kai
welcome to my little corner of the internet :)
please enjoy your stay. if you're having a good time, let's do something together!
(and also feel free to
& tell me what's on your mind!)
some things i've been exploring lately:
do any of these resonate with you? let's go for a walk and talk about it :)
sometimes, kai writes.
how to become love
written
you start by remembering how santiago turned himself into the wind.
you start by holding love within you. all the time. by setting your insecurities aside, and just—really appreciating how beautiful life is.
you start by letting yourself experience everything. especially the scary things, the things you don't let yourself experience.
you start by letting go of all the shame that keeps you feeling like you have to be okay, that you’re not allowed to be a mess.
by letting go of all the things that you thought made you you, until finally you let yourself be so small that you can even cry on the bus and not be worrying about what other people think of you.
you start by looking at all of your scars, and seeing them for the first time as the marks of your strength and your resilience.
you start by really opening your eyes to all the love currently at work in the world. because the work you do will take all of your strength, and then some. there will be moments when you forget what you are fighting for—
so please practice seeing and appreciating all the ways love shows up around you. again and again, you must look around and remember: you are not alone.
you start by realizing that you are worthy simply by holding this feeling, this conviction within you. that is all you need.
you don't need to have everything figured out to begin this journey; nobody does.
no one is ever truly ready, when they begin.
we are simply the ones who feel that calling from within, the ones who allow the weight of our conviction to wash over us, as we quietly accept our duty.
and somehow, that makes all the difference.
