It's Kai

Hi, it's Kai

Welcome to my little corner of the internet :)
Please enjoy your stay. if you're having a good time, let's do something together!

(and also feel free to
& tell me what's on your mind!)

Some things I've been exploring lately:

how principles and practices shape peoples lives
how important it is to simply show up
increasing the surface area for self-connection
posture and practicing the way you show up for yourself
"trying" vs "letting things unfold"
how the world needs you to come alive
honouring yourself in connnection with others
seeing the beauty in your own fear and awkwardness

Do any of these resonate with you? Let's go for a walk and talk about it :)

how to become love

written

you start by remembering how santiago turned himself into the wind.

you start by holding love within you. all the time. by setting your insecurities aside, and really appreciating how beautiful life is.

you start by letting yourself experience everything. especially the scary things you don't let yourself experience.

you start by letting go of all the shame that keeps you feeling like you have to be okay, that you mustn't be a mess. by letting go of all the things that you thought made you you, until finally you let yourself be so small that you can even cry on the bus and not be worrying about what other people think of you.

you start by looking at all your scars, and seeing them for the first time as the marks of your resilience and strength.

you start by really opening your eyes and seeing all the love currently at work in the world. because the work you do will take all of your strength, and then some. there will be moments when you forget what you're fighting for, and so you gotta practice seeing and appreciating all the ways love shows up around you. again and again, you must look around and remember: you are not alone.

you start by realizing that you are worthy simply by holding this feeling, this conviction within you. that's all you need. you don't need to have everything figured out to begin this journey; nobody does. no one is ever truly ready, when they begin. we are simply the ones who feel that calling from within, allow the weight of our conviction to wash over us, and quietly accept our duty. and somehow, that makes all the difference.
